Accessibility Statement

WCAG 2.1 level AA and European Accessibility Act

Sa.Ve. Gestioni srl is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and in line with the principles of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), in force since 28 June 2025.

Scope

This statement applies to the website https://www.campinglascoglierasalento.com/ and to its Italian, English and French versions.

Technical measures for accessibility

The following measures have been adopted in the design and development of the website to meet the WCAG 2.1 level AA criteria:

  1. Semantic HTML structure, with the page landmarks declared: header, main content, navigation and footer.
  2. A consistent heading hierarchy on every page.
  3. A “Skip to main content” link as the first keyboard-reachable element of every page: it appears when it receives focus and leads straight to the main content, without having to go through the header and the menu every time.
  4. Keyboard navigation of menus, submenus, carousels, photo galleries and interactive maps.
  5. A focus outline that is always visible on every interactive element.
  6. Focus stays inside dialog windows and full-screen panels for as long as they are open.
  7. Focus is never hidden under the fixed bars at the top and bottom of the screen.
  8. Alternative text on images that convey information; decorative images are marked as such and ignored by screen readers.
  9. A contrast of at least 4.5:1 between text and background on solid backgrounds; where text is placed over a photograph, overlays and shadows are applied to ensure it remains legible.
  10. Touch targets of adequate size and spacing, checked at the screen width of a phone (375 pixels).
  11. The website can be used down to a width of 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling, and withstands the increased text spacing set out in the guidelines.
  12. The language of every page is declared in the code and matches the language of its content.
  13. Links that open a new browser tab announce it to screen readers.
  14. Map controls can be reached with the keyboard and their commands are translated into the language of the page.
  15. ARIA attributes used only where they are needed.
  16. Forms and buttons with explicit labels.
  17. Text can be enlarged up to 200% using the browser’s own controls without loss of content or functionality.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard, because of the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

Despite the measures adopted, the content listed below is not fully accessible:

  1. Third-party content. The booking engine and the information request form are components made by external suppliers and embedded in the pages: how they work is not under the direct control of the website. Reports concerning them are forwarded to the respective suppliers.
  2. PDF documents. Any documents published in PDF format, for example price lists or regulations, may not be fully accessible to assistive technologies. The information they contain can be requested in an alternative format at the contact details given below.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 23 October 2026.

The assessment was carried out as an internal self-assessment, based on:

  • analysis of the website’s source code: views, style sheets and scripts;
  • automated testing with axe-core on 21 pages, at two screen widths, with the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules;
  • automated testing with Google PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse, Accessibility category;
  • measurement of the size and spacing of touch targets at the screen width of a phone (375 pixels);
  • a check of how the pages behave at a width of 320 pixels and with increased text spacing;
  • manual keyboard navigation testing.
